Things I think on this sunny Kingston afternoon...
- I think if Dalton McGuinty wins a majority, it will be because John Tory is such an abysmal campaigner. Teaching creationism... with my money....
- I think that Elections Ontario needs to fix its funding of the referendum campaign. Citizens' Assembly material is pro-MMP literature. Your tax dollars paid for it. Cherniak has all the info here.
- I think that we are in for one interesting provincial election.
- I think I'm happy to be back at Queen's after about 16 months.

Catholic System already teaches Creationism. With your money.
Actually, they teach creationism or look at it.. but only in religious studies classes -they don't teach it side by side evolution in science class... a big difference.
As for the Elections Ontario claim, how dare they include material from the Citizens Assembly - a government of Ontario created body - to tell the people of Ontario why they chose MMP. I mean, they might actually learn something about the electoral system and actually LIKE it. It's no wonder the NO side is calling for the suppression of information. There's little as is coming from Elections Ontario, and you guys want to remove what little educational material they have.
I think it's at least an example of how poorly thought out this referendum is. No one considered that Elections Ontario would be put in the awkward position of having to explain the alternatives without appearing to support either of them.
