Tories Channel Charles Barkley

I'm sorry, I nearly fell out of my chair laughing when I saw this quote in Jane Taber's latest on the Conservatives canceling a couple of scheduled breaks in the upcoming parliamentary session :
“We take it for granted that they will agree,” a senior government official told The Globe. “Anything less would be uncivilized.”
For those of you who didn't immediately think of deodorant:

Of slighly less humorous interest is that the plan includes canceling the Easter break which is strange coming from a government chock full of fairly religious Christians.

Good point, maybe the Libs should counter with an offer to work some Sundays to make up for lost time. It doesn't matter, the Cons will fall before any breaks.

Since the opposition chose to continue political games in 2010 over a 17 sitting days, it makes sense to remind them who is in charge.

The Seinfield episode with the Soup Nazi came to my mind and the Indiana Jones duel.
